A Female Perspective:
Notes for an History of Women Photographers


The Second International Biennial of Photography 2006 has the aim to be an analysis of the history of women photographers, focusing on the significant contributions that women artists gave to the growth and evolution of the medium. From the very beginnings of photography the female perspective had often given a totally different insight on reality. Talented women artists of the past and of today, with their original way of seeing, are the leading protagonists of visual arts.
